Duct leak testing & sealing

Duct leak testing & sealing includes a pre duct leak test with a duct blaster to determine how much air the heating/cooling system is leaking and to help find duct leaks. Sealing the heating/cooling system includes:

Sealing boots to drywall
Rebuild and or seal air return

Attic floor air sealing can only be performed if the old insulation has been removed. Perkins Inc. offers two types of attic floor air sealing. A complete attic floor closed cell 1" foam flashing or an attic floor foam spot seal.
