Dallas Professional Insulation Removal Services
Home Attic Insulation Removal Service
Attic insulation removal
is something that should not be taken lightly. Insulation removal is a difficult but sometimes necessary process that can increase the comfort, efficiency and indoor living conditions of your home. An attic that is full of old, dusty, dust-mite contaminated, animal infested insulation is not only a potential health risk to the home's occupants but it is also inefficient. Perkins Inc. specializes in removing old, dusty, animal feces contaminated attic insulation through out the Dallas metroplex.
Perkins Inc. uses a safe, effective method for removing dirty attic insulation from homes. Whether it is outdated, contaminated by rodents, or covered with dirt and debris, we have the solution to get rid of the old attic insulation. In this process we use a high-powered vacuum connected up to 400 feet of durable hose with a 4" diameter. The vacuum is positioned outside the home and a large volume filter bag is used to collect the insulation. We also remove batt insulation, the type of insulation that comes in strips or rolls. The old insulation is then hauled off and then disposed of properly. This process is not only efficient but also keeps the home from being further contaminated by the attic insulation being removed from your home.

Insulation Removal & Attic Floor Air Sealing
Once the insulation removal has been completed we're ready to air seal the attic floor. With no insulation in the attic it makes for the perfect opportunity to find and seal all attic-to-home air leaks. Most insulation does not stop airflow and acts similar to an air filter allowing hot/cold air to pass through. Therefore insulation over an unsealed attic floor does not performs to its fullest potential. After all air sealing has been completed it is time to install a Greenguard Certified insulation. Perkins Inc. is trained and certified to install insulation and we make sure every job is installed correctly so that it may keep your home warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Air sealing the attic floor combined with installing new Greenguard Certified insulation will create a clean and much more efficient attic that's safe for you and your family.
