Scott is highly skilled at what he does with significant experience. What is refreshing is that he presents the data to you in a non-sales pitch way, a way that is matter of fact and from experience. I appreciated that approach as there was no sales pitch needed. He is thorough, takes time to explain everything, and follows up throughout the process. I got several bids on the job and found Perkins Inc. to be the most complete, honest, and fair. Attic work may seem simple but there is a lot of potential areas for trouble. I felt safe in Scott's hands and was well taken care of. I would highly recommend Perkins Inc. to all who have insulation or attic issues.

Scott is a young man on a mission. Very hard worker. Professional, Respectful, Knowledgeable, & Personable. Also observed way Scott interacted with his crew. He's also a great boss. Got about 5 quotes and finally decided to work with Perkins Inc. The irony here is even though they were listed in Angie's list, they did not have a single review on them.
I am extremely happy that I decided to go with them and met Scott Perkins. It was a delight working with Scott, he was very flexible in working around my schedule and went over and above my expectation. My attic now look like it had fresh snow inside with clear white eco friendly blown-in insulation.
There is no hesitation in referring to any of my friends and will be very happy to work with him I future if need arises

Gregg and Scott are great. I like when the owners of a company are directly involved in the project I'm having done. My project was to check the ducts and returns for leaks, seal them and then bring my insulation up to R-49. They came out on a Saturday and took 7 hours to complete the project. Several problems with my return air ducts were found and corrected. They sealed up the return ducts, the vents and the unit in the attic also. I've seen a dramatic impact on the comfortably of my home - just what I wanted to achieve. I highly recommend these guys to everyone

The insulation consultant was very friendly and helpful in helping me see all the energy loss occurred to lead up to a 800 dollar electric bill. He also was very prompt when coming out and completing satisfactory work. I now can tell a big difference after my home has weatherized and insulated. I'm very happy to recommend Perkins Inc. as an excellent company in testing and repair of energy loss and installing conservation measures. Perkins Inc. performed multiple energy efficiency measures within my home, on April 29th 2008. The work was done in a friendly, professional and careful manner. The assessment of energy loss within my home was knowledgeable and thorough. They corrected the issues causing energy loss by installing weather stripping, sealing windows, plumbing, ducts, and attic area leaks. They even installed gaskets in my outlets and switches. My home stays more comfortable now, than ever. No drafts. And my air conditioning runs less often, while maintaining the set temperature. Now I'm saving money on my electric bills. Perkins Inc. came to my home to run a pre energy audit to help me address problems with my air infiltration and duct leaks. I thought I had a good idea of the locations my home was leaking but boy was I wrong. They found leaks in my home I never would have thought about or knew actually leaked. I was also impressed to find that I had a duct that was only half way connected. I never would have known or had the duct problem repaired and would have been blowing my hot or cold air straight into the attic if it were not for Perkins Inc. I also had Perkins Inc. take a measurement of my insulation while they were up in the attic and found that I was below the recommended level. I got my insulation level up to an R-38 for a great price and used cellulose insulation a recycled and safe material. Me and my family are very thankful for all the services Perkins Inc. implemented on our home. Thanks

Dear Perkins Inc, I want to thank you and all your crew for the wonderful job you did at my house today. Everyone was friendly, professional, clean, and courteous (gosh, sounds like the Boy Scouts! LOL). You arrived on time--that's a big plus and seldom seen anymore. Then you explained to me exactly what you were going to do. We talked about my current way of cooling my house, how I currently have the vents set up and why, and you showed me how I needn't deal with all the aggravation of fussing with my vents anymore after you finished the job. You were sweet and considerate with my scaredy cats (keeping them both IN the house for me as well as OUT of the bedroom!), and I appreciate that. You all worked like Trojans for hours and hours. Your work was neat and very thorough. I had been afraid that the job would be very noisy, as I work from home and need it pretty quiet, but actually, your equipment was surprisingly quiet almost the entire time, and I was able to work in my office without interruption, in spite of all the busy-ness going on around me. The quality of your work exceeded any expectations I may have had, and the price was absolutely right. And now, my home heating and cooling unit efficiency is greater than 90%, which is utterly amazing! I can definitely feel a change in the temperature in here already; I'm almost chilly, but my thermostat is set at an amazing 75 degrees. So thank you, Perkins, for all you did for my home today.
